Maranello – The fourth Ferrari Challenge Japan season has crowned its champions. The titles in the different classes were decided at Suzuka International Racing Course in July. Yamatatsu won the Trofeo Pirelli, Kenbow the Trofeo Pirelli Am, Yi Hang Tan the Coppa Shell and J the Coppa Shell Am. The Coppa Dealer went to Cornes Shiba.
In the premier Trofeo Pirelli class, Yamatatsu of Cornes Osaka narrowly prevailed. He finished just seven points ahead of Akihiro Tsuzuki of Auto Speciale. Tsuzuki recorded five wins during the season, but Yamatatsu’s consistency and two race victories ultimately earned him the title.
Title decisions in the Am classes
Kenbow of Cornes Shiba had already secured the Trofeo Pirelli Am title before the final round at Suzuka. He recorded five wins in 2026, including a double victory at Motegi, where he also took two pole positions and two fastest laps. COLD MAX of Cornes Osaka was second overall, followed by Z. Falcon of Cornes Nagoya in third.
Yi Hang Tan of European Version triumphed in the Coppa Shell. Despite a slow start with just two points in the first Suzuka race, he mounted an impressive comeback. Five victories gave him the title with 122.5 points, ahead of Naoryu of Cornes Shiba on 100 and Katsuya Hirata of Auto Cavallino on 93.
J of Rosso Scuderia became Coppa Shell Am champion. He scored 98 points, beating Tak Shaw of Cornes Shiba on 79 and Kento Inami of Yanase Fiorano Motori on 76. J scored points at every race event, underlining his consistency in a closely contested class despite winning only twice.
