Gilbert Yates dominates Trofeo Pirelli
Gilbert Yates confirmed his dominance of the British series’ Trofeo Pirelli, winning the overall title for the third consecutive time. After failing to score in the second race of the opening event, Yates mounted a remarkable comeback to move to the top of the standings.
Yates went on to win nine consecutive races, paving his way to the title. His main rival was his son Bradley Yates (Charles Hurst), who remained in contention until the end. Bradley finished the season with three wins and second place overall, 28 points behind his father. Joseph Dean (Stratstone Colchester) finished third.
Christopher Beighton celebrates debut title in Coppa Shell
