The wedding bells have rung, now Manuel Neuer is ready to relax! After his three-day wedding with around 150 guests at Freudenstein Castle in Eppan on the Wine Route in South Tyrol, where he said "I do" to Anika, the Bayern Munich star is now recharging his batteries on the Amalfi Coast in southern Italy.
The goalkeeping legend posted photos on Instagram showing him relaxing on the sunny Amalfi Coast. The only thing that helps here is the right dose of spaghetti and a good pinch of sea, seems to be Neuer's honeymoon motto. He can be seen enjoying the gourmet hotspot "Lo Scoglio da Tommaso" in the fishing village of Marina del Cantone and taking walks with breathtaking views of the picturesque bays of the Costa Amalfitana.
The time off is well deserved, because the soccer pitch will soon be calling again. FC Bayern will kick off the 2025/26 Bundesliga season with a home match against RB Leipzig on August 22 in Munich. Manuel Neuer is ready: his contract has just been extended until June 2026.
