Sisak – On Friday evening, October 23, 2026, the Rittner Buam SkyAlps won their away hockey game against the Croatian club KHL Sisak by a score of 3–2, extending their winning streak in the Alps Hockey League.
A tough start, an early goal to take the lead
After the long bus ride, the Rittner team initially struggled to get into the game. Sisak dominated the first period and repeatedly fired shots on the Rittner goal. Goaltender Vallini kept a clean sheet before the visitors took the lead out of nowhere. On a counterattack, Markkula passed to Manuel Öhler, who fed the puck across to Miceli; he scored in the 7th minute, putting the puck in the short corner for a 1-0 lead.
Felicetti and Markkula extend the lead to 3-0
The second period was more evenly matched. Kostner was denied by Sisak goalie Rosandic from close range just 13 seconds in. The Ritten penalty kill held strong twice before Felicetti tapped in a rebound off a long-range shot by Insam to make it 2-0 in the 28th minute. At the start of the final period, the Buam extended their lead with a power-play goal: Although Markkula had some bad luck with the puck, he still managed to beat Rosandic to make it 3–0 in the 41st minute. Sisak responded promptly—within two minutes, Juric scored on a rebound (42nd minute) and Laaksonen scored off an assist from Domitrovic (44th minute) to cut the lead to 2–3. In the closing minutes, Ritten defended its narrow lead and held on for the win.
