Villasanta – The sports event organizer Affari&Sport has announced three running events for fall 2026 in a press release. In collaboration with the Gruppo Podistico Villasantese running club, the „Donne in Corsa“ women’s race, the traditional „StraVillasanta“ race, and a Christmas training run will be organized in November and December.
All three events take place in Villasanta, in the province of Monza and Brianza, and lead participants to Monza Park. The program is designed for runners of all skill levels and combines physical activity with social and charitable causes.
Women's Run to Raise Awareness About Cancer Prevention
The sixth edition of „Donne in Corsa“ kicks off on Saturday, November 7, at 10 a.m. The event aims to raise awareness about the prevention of cancer in women. Participants can choose between a four-kilometer and a nine-kilometer route for running or walking in Monza Park.
Before the race begins, the „Pink Ambassadors“ of the Umberto Veronesi Foundation will be given a platform. These are women who have found a way to fight cancer through sports. To register, send an email to [email protected], specifying your T-shirt size.
23rd Edition of the Traditional Run
On Sunday, November 22, the 23rd edition of the „StraVillasanta“ will take place. The race, organized by the Gruppo Podistico Villasantese, will start at 9:30 a.m. in Piazza dei Martiri della Libertà. From there, the route will also lead to Monza Park.
As is tradition, the proceeds from the event will be donated to charity. According to the organizers, online registration for the race is already open. The announcement did not provide further details regarding the race distance.
Anniversary at the „Allenamento di Natale“
The „Allenamento di Natale“ (Christmas Run) is celebrating a milestone anniversary on Saturday, December 22. This year marks the 20th edition of the event. Once again, the Gruppo Podistico Villasantese and the municipality of Villasanta are responsible for organizing it.

In addition to the three main events, Affari&Sport offers an open running group in Monza Park every Monday evening at 6 p.m. under the motto „Solo un passo dopo l’altro.“ Participants can join different groups depending on their pace.
