Why is Statale 115 considered dangerous?
The accident once again draws attention to the well-known danger of Statale 115, which was built in the 1960s in the southwest of Sicily. Today, the road is extremely busy with cars, coaches, heavy trucks and motorcycles. Long straights, high speeds and constant roadworks make the Statale 115 one of the riskiest traffic arteries in the entire region Agrigento in Sicily.
