One of the destinations of the trip was Bagnara Calabra. There, the woman broke into the home of an elderly couple. She gained entry and stole the unsuspecting senior citizens' gold jewelry.
Fortunately, the victims quickly noticed the theft. They immediately alerted the local carabinieri. This quick report proved to be decisive for the quick success. The officers reconstructed the sequence of events, quickly identified the woman as the perpetrator and arrested her.
Double reproach
In addition to the actual theft, the suspect now has to answer for another offense. She systematically ignored her court orders for special surveillance and left her place of residence without permission. As is usual at this stage, the woman is presumed innocent until a final verdict is reached.
