Vicenza - The renowned wine company Cielo e Terra has appointed Andrea Passilongo as its new sales manager for the Italian market. This strategic appointment is aimed at consolidating and expanding the company's commercial presence, particularly in the premium segment with the Maia brand. Passilongo, an experienced manager with many years of expertise in the wine and spirits industry, will lead sales development in Italy and coordinate a team of 20 agents.
Passilongo brings with him an impressive career that began in 2006 at Campari Wines and took him through positions at Terra Moretti, Marzadro S.p.A. and Madonna delle Vittorie. There he was responsible for the national market via various channels such as Ho.Re.Ca., wholesale and retail and coordinated large distribution structures. His extensive knowledge of distribution network management and business development is crucial to Cielo e Terra's ambitious goals. The company is planning a restyling and strategic repositioning of the Maia brand to further emphasize its philosophy and values.
