Klobenstein – The Rittner Buam SkyAlps have released their preseason schedule for the 2026–27 Alps Hockey League season. The team is currently undergoing off-ice training; according to a club announcement, the first on-ice practice is scheduled for August 10. A total of six exhibition games will be played before the season opener on September 19.
Season opener against HC Milan and an away game in Bad Tölz
The test series kicks off with a home game on Friday, August 21, at the Ritten Arena against the newly formed HC Milan – This will be the first preseason game of the season for both clubs. Two days later, on August 23, the Rittner will play on the road at Bad Tölz with the Tölzer Lions, who play in the German Oberliga. A rematch against the same opponent will take place on September 11 at 8 p.m. at the Ritten Arena. As a side note: On August 28 at 7 p.m., there will be a team presentation for both teams—the Rittner Buam SkyAlps and the Junior Boys – planned.
Matches against three league rivals
In addition, the Rittner team will face three direct league rivals: On August 27 at 8 p.m., they will take on the reigning Alps Hockey League champion at the Pranives in Wolkenstein HC Gherdëina valgardena.it, on September 4 at 8 p.m. at the Würth Arena in Neumarkt for the Unterland Cavaliers Hockey, and on September 8 at 8 p.m. at the Pala Hodegart in Asiago for the Asiago Hockey Club. Along with the preseason schedule, the 2026/27 season ticket campaign has also begun. One new feature stands out: For children and teens between the ages of 11 and 17, a “Next-Gen” season ticket is being offered for 50 euros through September 30. For adults aged 18 and older, there is a choice between a season pass for 250 euros and a lounge pass—which includes streaming access—for 700 euros. Students between the ages of 18 and 26 can purchase a discounted season pass for 150 euros upon presentation of their student ID.
