Klobenstein – The Rittner Buam SkyAlps have expanded their goalkeeping roster for the upcoming season. Florian Plattner is no stranger to the team. As early as the 2021–22 season, he made his first appearance on the roster of the Rittner Buam SkyAlps. The 20-year-old made his official debut the following season, recording a mini-shutout right off the bat. Over the past three seasons, he has served as the backup goaltender behind Colin Furlong He made 22 appearances and demonstrated his skills on numerous occasions. Rödel Returns to the German Ice Hockey Scene
Raphael Rödel, born on December 1, 2005, in Bolzano, grew up as a goalkeeper in the youth teams of the Rittner Buam SkyAlps before he took the plunge and moved to Germany in 2021. There, he played in the youth divisions of the EV Füssen and the EC Bad Tölz. During the 2024–25 season, he played for the Tölzer Lions his debut in senior hockey in the Oberliga, Germany's third-highest league. In addition, he was once named to the roster of Red Bull Munich in the DEL, Germany's top soccer league. Last season, Rödel served as the backup goalkeeper for the Stuttgart Rebels in the Oberliga, at the TSG Reutlingen in the Regional League as well as in the Ravensburg Towerstars in the DEL2 in action. The sports directors see him as a welcome additional option in goal and emphasize that the Ritten native now wants to prove himself at his hometown club.
