MOLFETTA (Bari) - An armed robbery at a jewelry store in the "Gran Shopping Mongolfiera" shopping center in Molfetta led to dramatic scenes this Friday morning. A perpetrator was stopped after a shot was fired thanks to the courageous intervention of carabinieri and civilians.

At this critical moment, two carabinieri - one on duty and one off duty - intervened. With the active support of several courageous passers-by and customers, the two officers managed to overpower the armed man and bring him to the ground before anyone was harmed.
