L'article insinuait que les carabiniers avaient agi par \"vengeance\" dans le cadre de l'\"affaire Almasri\".<\/p>\n<p>Dans un communiqu\u00e9 officiel, la direction des carabiniers qualifie le contenu de l'article du journaliste Paolo Comi d'infond\u00e9 et les propos qu'il contient de grave atteinte \u00e0 l'honneur et \u00e0 la dignit\u00e9 de l'institution. L'id\u00e9e d'agir par vengeance est \"totalement \u00e9trang\u00e8re\" aux valeurs et \u00e0 l'histoire plus que bicentenaire des carabiniers. De telles motivations seraient fondamentalement contraires \u00e0 la culture et au mode de fonctionnement de l'institution.<\/p>\n<p>Dans le cas concret, selon le commandement g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, l'\u00e9quipe d'enqu\u00eate comp\u00e9tente \u00e0 Rome n'a fait que remplir les t\u00e2ches qui lui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 confi\u00e9es par l'autorit\u00e9 judiciaire. Cela aurait \u00e9t\u00e9 fait avec le professionnalisme et la diligence habituels et dans le strict respect des comp\u00e9tences.<\/p>\n<p>Les carabiniers ont annonc\u00e9 vouloir prot\u00e9ger leur r\u00e9putation et leur travail \u00e0 l'avenir \u00e9galement contre les informations journalistiques infond\u00e9es.
