Many fans learned at the entrance checks that their tickets were invalid and had to remain outside. The figure of around 1.500 affected concertgoers cited in connection with the event is an estimate.<\/p>\n<p>Inside, around 6.000 spectators watched the American musician's sold-out performance. The fans who were turned away had bought their tickets through unauthorised websites. While some paid about 80 to 100 euros, the amounts charged in individual cases ranged from 500 to 1.200 euros. A high purchase price therefore offered no guarantee of valid admission.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<h2 class=\"inw-h\">Signs of the ticket fraud in Rome<\/h2>\n<p>Some rejected tickets carried the generic label \u201cHaupteingang\u201d (main entrance), without specifying a particular entrance to the venue. Unofficial resale also includes cases in which forged screenshots or altered purchase confirmations are presented as proof of supposedly existing tickets.<\/p>\n<p>The incident concerns the Rome date of the \u201cRough and Rowdy Ways\u201d tour. Dylan had previously performed in Milan on 2 November; Bologna follows on 7 November.
