In a Ducati one-two-three finish, his brother \u00c1lex M\u00e1rquez and Italian Fabio Di Giannantonio followed in second and third place. Jorge Mart\u00edn crashed and will miss Sunday\u2019s main race due to an injury to his right forearm.<\/p>\n<p>For the Italian motorcycle manufacturer, the short Saturday race thus ended with a full podium. Behind the three Ducatis, Marco Bezzecchi crossed the finish line in fourth place. The Italian Aprilia rider made up ground during the race but was unable to catch up to the leading group. Di Giannantonio, on the other hand, secured a podium finish with third place.<\/p>\n<p>Marc M\u00e1rquez leads the World Championship standings after the sprint with 365 points. Mart\u00edn remains at 355 points, trailing by ten points. Bezzecchi has 315 points. The new standings are based on Saturday\u2019s race; the longer main race of the Australian Grand Prix will take place on Sunday, October 25.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"row vc_row wpb_row vc_row-fluid\"><div class=\"jeg-vc-wrapper\"><div class=\"wpb_column jeg_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-12\"><div class=\"jeg_wrapper wpb_wrapper\">\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<h2 class=\"inw-h\">Ducati Sweeps the Podium and Mart\u00edn's Injury<\/h2>\n<p>At the time of the crash on the eighth lap, Mart\u00edn was in second place behind Marc M\u00e1rquez. The Spaniard was subsequently examined at the track\u2019s medical center. According to his team, Aprilia, X-rays confirmed a fracture of his right radius. There was also suspicion of a fracture of the ulna. Further tests are expected to determine the exact extent of the injuries; no timeframe for his absence from racing was initially provided.<\/p>\n<p>Aprilia has already ruled out Mart\u00edn from starting Sunday\u2019s main race. Francesco Bagnaia also ended the sprint early, though only after pulling into the pits and without crashing. He couldn\u2019t get a good feel for his Ducati.
